The Office of Recruitment at Athens State University is primarily responsible for the recruitment of students to the university. In collaboration with Postsecondary institutions and Community colleges, ASU’s Recruitment Office assists prospective students by ensuring their educational aspirations are met by programs offered at Athens State University. ASU recruitment schedules are developed for area high schools, in state and out of state community colleges and technical colleges. Recruitment of qualified students from traditionally unrepresented groups supports the university’s diversity initiative.

All printed recruitment materials, online recruitment materials, and recruitment presentations are consistent with the university’s procedures and policy. College publications are reviewed by the individual colleges and must be approved by the respective college deans prior to publication.
